Update – Where the HELL I’ve Been

Hello lovelies, IM BACK

I would first like to start off by saying I am SO SORRY for my absence. However, I really needed some time to myself and to heal a bit more as well as figure somethings out.

I am proud to say that I am now hallucination free. For those of you who do not know, I used to have hallucinations linked to my PTSD . . . However with the help from my amazing new therapist and a process called EMDR (Ill make a blog post about this later), I now have been hallucination free for almost a year (:

Im still diagnosed with anxiety, PTSD and bipolar . . . However, I am currently stable!

Lots of good news from me, I also just finished my 3rd year in my program at University!

But enough about me . . . what is new with you guys?

XO

Hello Lovelies

Hello my lovelies.
It is already 12:16 here and I am just having the hardest tie getting my morning routine on the go for today.
I woke up and had a good breakfast and have had my morning coffee but other than that I just can not seem to get going.
I literally am going to have to drag myself into the shower, not to mention I missed my morning work out (OOOOOOPS).

What are your morning routines like? Do you have something specific that you do every morning?
Let me know !

And don’t forget to follow me on twitter and instagram.

My name is Danielle

Hello lovelies.

I thought today I’d write a little blog about me, not just about mental health.

My name is Danielle Ashley (no thats not my real last name), I am 23 years old and am from the lovely country of Canada.
I have been diagnosed with an unstable bipolar disorder, anxiety (mostly social anxiety) and severe PTSD. I used to have hallucinations, auditory and visual, which were linked to my PTSD when I am in a very stressed state or overly stressful situations.
I am currently on a leave from working as per my psychiatrist in order to work on feeling better and improve my mental health situations. I m doing this with therapist appointments, check ins with my case worker as well as starting an out patient program at my local hospitals during the day. I am also going to start attending an art therapy group on Wednesdays at the Canadian Mental Health Associations.

Myself, well I am bit of a confusing person. I love to go out and dance, it makes me feel free and makes me feel like there is not a care in the world. However sometimes , well most of the time, my social anxiety gets in the way of my social activities. Usually I find myself okay if I go with a good group of friends that I know have me, however even than this can be a stressful procedure.
Confusing Right?

I also really like animals. I used to work at a vet hospital which I found very therapeutic. Being around animals is very calming and relaxing to me.
I also have a cat named “Jax”, or “Jaxson” . . . yes this may come from a slight Sons of Anarchy obsession. However I have had him since he was a teeny tiny baby and he gives me things such as responsibility and companionship.

So there is a little about me.
Feel free to share some things about you. Id love to get to know all of you.
